"Hotel com a vista mais linda do Douro, quartos excelentes, café da manhã com diversas opções maravilhosas. O ponto negativo é a localização, longe das boas vinícolas e na região há apenas 1 bom restaurante. É um hotel para quem pretende ficar apenas no hotel pois não tem atrações fora"

"Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful."

"Absolutely stunning property with a very thought out layout and design. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet and had blackout curtains. The restaurant onsite was also delicious and offered a wide range of options. The SPA was so nice and had the best couples message ever."

"Lovely hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The spa was heaven as the indoor pool, hot tub and Turkish bath were included. I didn't see the sense in having to buy the shower cap/swimming cap as it wasn't waterproof"
