"We had a really poor experience…
1) The bathrooms and washing areas were smelling bad / extremely unclean… the taps were all fully dark and rusty
2) very salty water provided for all washing / bathing.
3) extremely un-friendly staff who were showing absolutely no interest in the welfare of the guests.
4) It was extremely hot during day time, so we asked them to switch on the AC and they said AC will be available only from 9pm.
5) We bought some expensive prawns from the shop they took as to ,...

"What a wonderful place, very beautiful and relaxing.
Accommodation absolutely top notch, staff even better.
Having stayed in several highly rated 5 star hotels during our month long tour of India we felt this to be the best.
If you're looking for the backwater experience in true comfort and style then this gives you that.
We hired a day boat which picked us up from the bottom of the garden.
We spent the evenings watching the boats go by and the chinese fishing nets being used. Realy all one...
