"I stayed at seaborne for 4 nights while attending a conference nearby. I have never experienced such hospitable and kind staff before. The staff made sure every day that everything was perfect for me, and even helped with transport. The breakfast is delicious and fresh, the rooms are clean and amenities are good and modern, with air conditioners, good WiFi and TV. "During my week in Auroville, this was our favourite stay. Seaview, and great roof top terrace good both for excersise and stargazing. Appreciated the small touches like kettle with complementary tea and coffee, toilet paper and daily cleaning. "You could do a lot worse ! This hotel was perfectly adequate for our purpose. It lies just outside White Town. Crossing the road by foot from the white town side to the hotel side of the road like any Indian city is not for the faint of heart. Breakfast was standard fare for South India. If you have a driver then you can be dropped off near the promenade which is pedestrianised and is simply marvellous for this very reason.We didn't eat in as there were a lot of eateries around.Pondy is very humid in August so the room AC provided a welcome respite from this humidity .If I was staying in Pondy again, I would be happy to stay here again."

"Enjoyed our stay here. It is perfectly situated to enjoy both White Town and French Quarter. Reception organised a sightseeing seeing trip for us and also taxi to Chennai with a short visit to Mamallaporum Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. Hotel has a good reasonably priced restaurant."
