"Great position for town centre, train station, quays & bars & restaurants"

"Main issues were a) the "bistro" and bar area looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Most of the dining tables had been replaced by a pool table and dart boards. Broken or unused furniture was piled up at the side of the room. After taking one look, we decided that eating here was not an option. Similar unwanted furniture etc was piled up on the stairs to the second floor. All in all, there is no way this could be described as a tidy place b) our room was immemdiately above the bar....

"Yes the gypsy caravan is small but it has everything you need .... It's clean, tidy warm and cosy, and a great night's sleep. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts were slightly different each day but at the same time great quality .. all the staff can cook! We were made to feel so welcome we stopped and extra night! Overall a super pub in a super location. Would recommend booking the restaurant and it's very popular and often full even mid-week. Would recommend to anyone. "

"Excellent stay Friendly staff throughout. Beautiful property low beams low ceiling full of character. Howe, if you're taller than average then be careful. I bumped my head few times nothing major. Otherwise yes defo would stay here again."
