"We stayed at Gara Rock for four nights and were disappointed by several issues. While the hotel has potential, the negatives stood out. There were two boiler outages—one on the first morning and another on the final evening. During the first, we were asked to use the penthouse bathroom but not offered a room change. "It’s Salcombe so it’s lovely, not cheap but value for the area on this occasion. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel is lovely, breakfast was very good.

The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super
