"Our stay at Velassaru was amazing. We spent 12 days on the island, and did not want to leave... The level of service and dedication of the staff are beyond the words. The hotel is ideal for family or romantic getaway. The island is very small and that makes it really quiet and peaceful. You can see Male as it is really close by, but on the other hand you don't need to spent extra hours for getting to the island. Highly recommend this hotel to all lovers of the tranquil holidays."

"We had an excellent time and the property is amazing. The house reef is a must do and the snorkeling excursion. I would not recommend the big game fishing though - lots of money and really no effort to ensure you caught anything.
