Hotel Dekat Makam Purba Sakimisakizakiyama

The mom and daughter duo who run it are so sweet, helpful and genuine, the room was terrific, and breakfast delicious. The location is right where you want to be, within walking distance of lots of Nara sights and great food. I STRONGLY recommend staying at Matsumae Ryokan if at all possible."

"Tsukihitei is truly an extraordinary place. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful traditional setting, exceptional service, and attention to every detail made the experience unforgettable. It feels like stepping into a hidden gem where Japanese elegance and warm hospitality come together perfectly. A truly special place that I highly recommend."

"This property is close to Nara Park and many great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"There was no real sink in the right place."

"Fantastic breakfast including fresh breads and Japanese hot dishes. Homemade fresh local tofu. Many organic foods. Close to station and shops and restaurants. Great view of Nara City at night during the happy hour or morning during breakfast. Basic pillow was traditional Japanese pillow filled with beans or grain. Other softer pillows were available from the front reception area. The hotel is working hard to reduce/eliminate carbon footprint. As a traveler with small luggage at the end...
