"We had a delightful stay at the Hotel Croatia and felt welcomed and at ease there. The staff were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The place was clean and the buffet was always on point. Loved loved loved it and would 100% recommend."

"We stayed for one night due it’s close proximity to the airport, Dubrovnik, Cavtat- w/ plenty of things to do the day before our departure. The property itself is in an amazing spot, with private beaches & large pool overlooking in the ocean- although being May & a cloudy day the pool was too cold for us. The staff was great, rooms were clean, & free breakfast was good. Travelers need to remember they’re not paying or staying in a five-star hotel, and this was far above par for the course....

"The hotel is located in a small almost deserted village 15 mins away from Dubrovnik. There is nothing there except the hotel and one small mini-mart. You can take a bus to town. The room was spacious and nice. The walls are thin so you can hear people in the next room. The breakfast was very basic. One staff member was rude but the other was very nice. We stayed out exploring as long as we could. I would say this is a basic hotel, nothing fancy, isolated, but within 15 min bus ride to Dubrovnik."

"Place is lovely and staff are great. Beautiful foyer and bar area to relax in. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms could be bigger and some areas do feel tight such as the elevators and hallways. Perhaps I’m used to different but that’s my observation. I’d also say that the restaurants could have a better and bigger menu. My palette is vast but this didn’t hit for me. Overall. I’d rate it very highly and the sea view is phenomenal. "

"Ramona (one of the owners and key staff person) was wonderful. Very helpful and cheerful. Overall, the small guest house was lovely. However, the rooms (at least mine) were quite small. Fine for a night or two, but I'd get a larger space if I was going to be in town longer, particularly since there is no lobby or place to be outside the rooms. The other thing to be aware of is they only take cash, and it's required at the beginning of the visit. I'm sure that info was included somewhere in...

"Pool facilities excellent, indoor and outdoor. Located right on the beach. The resort is very small and quiet, justtwo or three bars/restaurants. Transport to other locations very limited. Rooms were large and plenty of storage space. Food was average quality."

"It was the best location within old town. Just next to Pile gate by opposite the fountain. We did not need to lug our Baggage too far. Victor was so nice and he let us in early at 10:30am so we could join some 11:00am tours. Nice new spacious rooms with a good size bathroom. Great shower with plenty of hot water. No noise issues at all I would highly recommend this to anyone. We had daily breakfast just outside Pile gate for about 25euro per person."

"Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Lage gut, Zimmer genau wie beschrieben und das Frühstück ist sehr empfehlenswert. Alle sind sehr nett, Zimmer zum Hof auch sehr ruhig, Straßen Seite würde ich nicht empfehlen. Durften auch unser Gepäck am abreisetag noch dort lagern. Vielen Dank!!"

"These rooms are located close to the ferries and bus depot. It’s a simple room with a very comfortable bed and a good size shower. The owner is a lovely woman who takes good care to make sure you are settled in. If you’re inclined to walk, we walked to and from old town easily. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Friendly and comfortable villa hotel in the heart of the old town. Great location close to Cathedral and all of the old town within easy walking distance. Hotel itself is in a smaller side street so there is not so much passing people or noise. Room clean and well equipped with kettle, fridge, TV, A/C, bathroom with strong shower. Nikolina (host) was helpful with recommendations and tips on places to go including restaurants as well as location of eg the airport bus pick up. Fantastic location...
