A quiet retreat in Maipu wine country

A quiet retreat in Maipu wine country. It is not in walking distance to the town of Maipu. You need taxi or car to get to the Wineries. They don’t serve dinner at their very small restaurant until about 9 pm. Pleasant outdoor seating, patios & pool.

Precioso lugar y muy atentos

La posada es preciosa y Hans y Cinthia son muy atentos y amables. Súper limpio y agradable espacio, precioso entorno y la comida casera. Probamos el vino y el aceite de oliva, muy bien! Para volver, sin dudas.

A estadia foi incrível. Atendimento excelente. Bom café da manhã, bom restaurante, quarto bem confortável. Fácil acesso e com estacionamento. Hans, o dono, sempre atento e pronto para que os hóspedes se sintam o melhor possível. Tudo funciona muito bem. Recomendo.

The owner Hans is very helpful and welcoming. Their personal chef Ernesto cooked delicious meals and was very pleasant. The view of the vines from the room was so peaceful.

Nice place. Hans (the owner) is very engaging with guests. The room felt a little dated but being on a Vineyard is something nice and special. Good location to visit a couple of other vineyards, but a bit out of town if that is what you are looking for.

Hans was an attentive host and the property was definitely good value. The meals were adequate but nothing special. The patios and small pool area were lovely for relaxing outside the rooms and having bikes (to rent) on site was a bonus as we arrived without a car. Note there are few restaurants serving evening meals nearby although several excellent choices for substantial lunches.

The owner Hans was so helpful advising on activities & which wineries to visit. We felt at home meeting his other guests enjoying the multiple choice three course meals. His own wine & others are for sale in his cellar. The roomy bedroom was ideal with power shower. It’s set on 20+ hectares with a small working vineyard within easy reach of many others. We didn’t use the pool but in the hot summer would be popular. Highly recommended for personal service!

Amazing serene haven

Amazing little hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner Hans is a great host, he was very helpful. Every night, one can eat at the Posada amazing meals cooked by their in house chef Ernesto for roughly 15USD per menu. The Posada rents bikes (with helmets) and is very conveniently located in Maipu. All in all, a great place - just go

Fuimos con mi esposa a finales del otoño por espacio de 4 días y fue fantástico. El lugar es precioso y resultó ideal para nuestra idea de desconectarnos de la ciudad. Anduvimos en bici todos los días y pudimos recorrer toda la Colonia el Zorzal sin complicaciones. El servicio de la posada es insuperable. Al poco tiempo de estar allí. Te sientes parte de una familia. Todo gracias a la buena onda de Hans y su cuidado por cada detalle. No hay nada como cenar con el vino de la casa, eso es un detalle de fina coquetería.Volveremos a ir, Idealmente a sumarnos a la vendimia!

Would stay again

This place is definitely off the beaten path, but quite lovely and comfortable. Includes continental breakfast. Our room was a bit noisy, not from people but from a machine in the room the turned on and off during the night, gas pump? and mattress was quite firm. Outside sitting areas are perfect for a glass of wine overlooking the vines. They have made every effort to have good wifi signal, but sometimes still weak inside the room.
