Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. "Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and had all that was needed for our 2 night stay. The bar and outdoor areas were great with plenty of room despite being very very busy whilst we were there. There is also a separate dining area where you’re able to take your dog which is a wonderful idea. The staff were all extremely friendly, attentive and helpful, a wonderful asset to the business. The breakfasts were lovely, plenty of choice and enough to keep us going until late afternoon."

"Stayed here for 3 nights in a lovely large room. Only down side was lack of air conditioning, there were fans in the room which helped slightly but the hotel cannot control the outside 35C temperature. The hotel was lovely with very friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the menu had plenty of choices. Breakfast was self service with a wide selection of choices available. The hotel was an ideal location for walking (30 mins) or driving into the town centre. We did not have time to use the leisure facilities."
