"This place is a gem! Our definite go-to place when I come to say in Western NC. Everything you would want in a cabin is here - as long as you don’t mind the outdoor propane fire pit in place of a messy indoor wood burning fireplace. I wish I could tell everybody this place sucks, so I can can scare people away and I will always have a room available 😝"

"Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step...

"Quite area, decent Mountain View’s, wildlife galore, only complaint is shower is an RV type and very small! Customer service and correspondence was easy and just a text away! Would recommend staying here if your looking for a camping like experience with all the amenities!"

"The staff is extremely friendly and HONEST, our room was paid through Tuesday, my boyfriend and I thought it was booked through Monday (we didn't do the booking) so he went and paid for Mo day night. The following morning a gentleman came up to us as we sat in the rockers outside our room and said as he was going over things he saw the room was already paid through Tuesday and to come up to the office whee he gets time for a refund. You just dont know what find that type of honesty these days....

"Room never got cleaned, never had towels because unfortunetly the house keeper never came to our room but once and trying to communicate with her was impossible because she didnt speak english. The pool had so much chlorine that we couldn't swim without our eyes and skin being on fire, ice machine was broken, some of the food at breakfast was spoiled. it was such a shame because my kids were so looking forward to the pool. and i couldnt even allow our baby to crawl around because our room never...

"Everything was perfect! Wonderful hosts provided delicious breakfasts with gluten free alternatives. Our room was very clean and beautiful. The house sits on a gorgeous piece of property with wonderful views. We highly recommend The Yellow House on Plott Creek Road!"
