"It was a lovely stay, just one night before a day at bike park wales. I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there. Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could. The room was beautifully decorated, bed comfy, shower amazing and the whole place was quiet. "

"A welcoming, traditional, impeccably presented hotel in an elevated position with expansive views from the gardens. Geared up for weddings and events. A little lacking in facilities for other types of guests (e.g. a gym or pool), but we had a lovely brief stay. Good food, excellent breakfast. Transport needed to reach the property up a long, mainly single track road - try not to leave when dozens of wedding guests are arriving from the opposite direction!"

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Fox and Hounds. A little haven just up the road from the bustle of Cardiff where we had a brilliant night seeing the Stereophonics. Adam and all staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive, very friendly locals and a brilliant taxi firm recommended who chauffeured us to and from the gig. An absolutely lovely little break away and we are looking forward to returning, concert or not. "

"A lovely place to stay! Our cottage was perfect, good size and beautifully decorated. Such a peaceful place, easy to get into Cardiff centre. "We enjoyed our stay very much! The property owner obviously thought of every need one might have. From the towels to the tea to the nicely stocked breakfast. We had a wonderful view from 5B, a super bed and it was quiet. Along the stair landings were books, dog biscuits, wine corkscrews and even a sewing kit. A big thanks to Patrick. "
