"1. The reservation site is not clear and/or helpful. I was under the impression that I had booked a room with a private bathroom, and this was not the case. 2. The photos on the site show only the "bright side of the moon...", be very careful on what you are really booking! 3. There is no clear information that this is a hostel NOT a hotel. 4. Upon arrival there is no indications that check in is on the first floor, very confusing. 5. The person at check in is impolite and not helpful at...

"Everything seemed to be in order but we left food in the fridge and the next day it was gone, also around 3 am we heard noises and when we went out of the room to check there was a random girl using the bathroom and when she saw us she ran away. When we asked about it to a worker next morning she said that a couple of immigrants usually get in during the night and sleep there and steal food but nobody does anything to stop them or to protect the property, we felt very vulnerable and unsafe after...

Top Madrid Hotel Reviews

SLEEP’N Atocha – B Corp Certified

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely eco focused stay with the importance on the everyday comforts & great service. The rooftop area serving breakfast is available for anytime relaxation along with the downstairs lounge, to enjoy the complimentary beverage & treat stations. The great staff made us feel at home & everything sparkled. Wonderful location!"

Hard Rock Hotel Madrid

10/10 Excellent

"Had a great recent stay in Madrid's Hard Rock Hotel. It was very easy to get to from Atocha Station, and is a quick walk to El Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and one of the more well designed rooms I have been on in my business travels. The breakfast is worth the additional charge for nice variety and the convenience. I also caught an excellent live show in the lobby, which I highly enjoyed while sipping a massive espresso martini from the on-site bar!"

ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Barajas

8/10 Good

"Ideal hotel if you are looking for a place to rest your head before a morning flight at Madrid–Barajas Airport. The rooms are basic, clean, creatively decorated with clouds patterns on the ceilings and minimalists storage on the wall. The hallways and lobby area are similarly decorated and generally provide a fun vibe for this hotel. Downstairs there is a small bar area with video games and seating, including an awesome Alien pinball machine - shame it was broken as I would have loved to play. The staff member at the desk spoke great English and was really friendly and genuine. My only complaint is the pillows were too soft and no extra ones were offered in the room nor was there a blanket. These two element would have made the room just a bit more comfortable."
