"I loved the location being so close and convenient to hiking trails, lakes, Wicklow Gap, and close enough to shopping and other amenities. The staff was excellent! I appreciated the conversations, recommendations, and welcoming personalities. I didn't like that there was no outdoor seating near the water for a picnic, or just to enjoy being outdoors. "I loved my stay. Room was cozy and clean. Walkable to Glendalough and some nearby shops, a lovely pub, and the bus stop back to Wicklow train station. Staff were incredibly nice and caring. They even brought me ice for my ankle that I injured while hiking the Wicklow Way. A great stop if you are hiking the Wicklow Mountains."

"Absolutely peaceful, beautiful property and those Airedales just made our stay ten times more memorable. Svetlana and Jeff do a great job making you feel right at home in this gorgeous property. It is away from towns which is what we needed after three days in Dublin. BUT! Don’t let this fool you as we had the best meal at the Woodenbridge Hotel (8 min drive)… so you have options. "What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend."

"The area was beautiful and the few staff we encountered were courteous. The bunkroom we stayed in had dirty blue pillowcases, fitted sheets, and duvets. This is a shared room hostel which is a great way to meet people from around the world. The wifi was so weak we had to either sit at reception or not have access. Just like any other hostel, you rent towels and strip your own beds of the white linens you place there prior to sleep. The building wasn't well maintained and there was no sound limit...

" luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...
