Walking distance from train station. Front staff was able to accommodate a different room as there was construction. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Only stayed the one night but would recommend.
Great little hotel close to the train station Machu Picchu bus and markets.
A staff member met us from the train to take us to the hotel which was great.
Not quiet and curtains allow too much light from stairs (travelers turn them on when using them) to come through the window. Overall a great value for our needs. The beds are clean.
Staff was amazing. They met us at bus station and walked us to property so we wouldn’t get lost. They made sure we knew what all we needed to visit Machu Picchu so we wouldn’t have any last minute surprises. Workers spoke good English. Hotel was clean and breakfast started at 5 am so we could still grab a bite before our 6 am entry time. Would definitely recommend to others
We had a room for 5 people with 4 beds. The beds were fine and the room appeared clean. The room served it purpose for sleeping before and after Machupicchu. We had no hot water. Not even luke warm could pass as warm water. We asked about jt and they said give it 10 minutes. We waited ans nothing. All 5 of us showered in freezing water. We also did not have a working toilet. We talked to front desk and they sent someone up to unclog it. That wasnt the issue. The toilet did not fill with water and seemed like it was not hooked up. We tried to flush it multiple times and it did nothing. We had to go to the lobby to go to the washroom
The breakfast was a good hot buffet and started super early which was great for our 6am Machupicchu entrance time. It was made fresh and on time for 5am.
The room and breakfast were good enough for what we needed. However have any warm water and a working toilet would have been nice.
Very small room. No mini fridge. Only two clothes hangers. To much loud talking in the hallways by other guests. Rooms need to be soundproof. Breakfast was great okay.
Stay was ok. Room was small with no ventilation.
Aircon so noisy it could not be left on so room became stuffy.
Safe not working, dispensers in shower empty & not working.
Breakfast average 2nd day we were later & most items gone.
It would take just a small effort from the staff to improve.
Convenient to rail etc but I don’t think we would recommend.
The staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean.
Very close to train station. Our room was at the 5th floor, there is an elevator, so no problem there.
We were a group of 11 people in 3 different rooms.
In the context of the town, this hotel worked well for our visit to Machu Picchu. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Franky. My understanding is that all the hotels are noisy and the town is in a constant state of construction. It worked out fine for us.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
If I ever went to Aguas Calientes again I would not stay at this hotel for several reasons. There were two windows in the room. One looked directly into the elevator shaft and the other looked into the hall. They advertised an a/c, but it went more like a softly blowing fan. Shower was hot but there was almost no water pressure from the hot faucet. Beds were hard, but more comfortable than other Peruvian beds we've stayed in.
We had a terrible stay at the Andino hotel. It came with a 9.4 rating…that can’t be accurate. The A/C unit didn’t work and neither did the other couples room that was traveling with us. No hot water for showers either. My room safe was locked shut and not opened after I reported it. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at through Hotels.com. Extremely disappointed!
I booked for three nights with them. I traveled from Washington D.C. to Cuzco only to find that my checked luggage was not there! The airline informed me that I was supposed to pick up my luggage in Lima and re-check it to arrive in Cuzco- I was ynever told this but now understand that it is normal practice after arriving in your destination country if you have a connecting flight (same applied to returning to JFK before flying to DCA...).
After arriving with only my backpack carry-on, I informed the staff of my predicament. They were very receptive and resolved to make phone calls to ensure that my luggage was delivered to me. Late on the second evening of my stay they had located my luggage and ensured that it was delivered directly to me at Andino!
In addition, Esmerelda was especially helpful in giving me restaurant advice as well as advice on pretty much anything I wanted to know about; unfortunately, I do not speak much Spanish- this would have helped me a lot more along my trip if I did. Nevertheless, thanks to them, it was a wonderful experience and I would gladly stay with them again:)

O hotel é muito bom pensando em localização, atendimento. Foram nos buscar na estação de trem pois chegamos no último trem da noite.
A cama é bem confortável e o chuveiro bem quente.
Mas o café da manhã não é bom. Poucas opções e não fazem reposição.
Não gostamos.
