"The hotel was very gracious to hold all of our luggage while we made the trip to Machu Picchu. They secured it in a room off the main lobby. The lobby was clean and had comfortable sofas. I had an issue with the reservation Hotel.com charged me for the room but the hotel didn't have the reservation. I was with others so was able to stay in another room. "We stayed here two nights. This is definitely rustic, so be prepared for that. That being said, you should definitely stay here. The ladies that work here are very nice, and when we were there, they were in the midst of wrapping 50 presents to take to the highlands to kids that live in small communities. They wrapped 50 presents and wrote kids’ names on each. They also take sugar/rice to them as well. Due to high altitude (5000m), nothing grows in those communities but potato. By staying here,...
