Sejour sympathique sur une ile qui bouge

Petit hotel calme. Un peu loin de la plage de bikini. Chambre petite mais propre. Personnel au top. Petit déjeuner à ameliorer car toujours la même chose. Excursions et service rapport qualité prix convenable.

we liked

We spent 9 nights here and we liked. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. The only beach in island where you can wear bikini is pretty far from this hotel.

Grazioso albergo a poca distanza dal mare

Siamo giunti all'hotel dopo aver concordato con l'operatore Expedia un cambiamento dell'itineriario. La struttura è nuova e molto carina. Siamo stati accolti con sorrisi, gentilezza ed un drink di benvenuto. Il personale è stato cortese e disponibile.La stanza con tre letti è comoda, molto spaziosa, accessoriata di ogni confort . I letti sono confortevoli e le pulizie molto accurate. Caratteristica è la sala colazione, adiacente ad una piccola graziosa piscina. Purtroppo la struttura "sconta" la vicinanza ad una discarica dove, purtroppo, bruciano i rifiuti ed i fumi dellla combustione, inevitabilmente, investono la struttura costringendo gli ospiti a tenere le finestre chiuse. Inoltre,essendo l'attività edile in gran fermento, l'aspetto dell'isola assomiglia, ahimè, ad un gran cantiere. L'unica spiaggia riservata ai turisti è, comunque piacevole ed i turisti vengono trattati con attenzione e riguardo.

Best hotel on Maafushi

Pros: when we arrived at the ferry port, driver already waited there for us, then around 5 mins ride to hotel, when we arrived at hotel, the manager already prepared everything for us, chic welcome drink, cleaning towel and check in was clear and fast, and then the manager show us around. we booked a family room, the size is 2.5 bigger than normal rooms in the hotel, the room is spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable. you could still view the sea in your room A rooftop located 3rd floor, which made your sea view more great, some table game also located at the rooftop to spend your time when the weather is not good enough. The hotel offers a variety of activities, excursion, sailing, snoerkling, sunset fishing, all well arranged and at reasonable price. Cons: when we arrived, there are some flying inside the room, may be due to its climate. No ventilation system in the bathroom, the water pressure is not so good you have to wait several mins for the hot water coming. the restaurant at the hotel is bit overpriced, and the guy at the cafe bar looks not so attentive and in good mood to serve customer

Warning, do not book this Hotel

Do not book this Hotel. When I arrived to this Hotel, staff told me that there has been a double booking. I told them that I have booked and prepaid for the hotel months ago. This Hotel was full so insted they took me to another hotel. I had to accept that and they gave me no compensation and never returned to ask if he hotel they took me to was ok. I have told Hotels.com about the incident. I have been travelling for more than 30 years, seen a lot of Hotels and been to 80 countries. I would give all other travellers a very good advice, do not book this Hotel.

hotel bien mais ile crado

L ile n est pas représentative des maldives en général.Elle pourrait etre jolie s il n y avit pas cette grande décharge à ciel ouvert et tous ces dechets qui trainent partout dans les rues et le long de la cote!L hotel est agréable et le personnel aimable.Nous sommes restés à la piscine car la plage de l ile est toute petite et pleine de monde.Nous avions reservé une chambre pour 3 mais n avions qu un grand lit il a fallu ajouter 20 dollars par nuit pour mettre un matelas au sol...pas très réglo!Les habitants de l ile sont sympatiques.

Best service

We were picked up by a staff at the airport, who led us to take the ferry to Maafushi. After we arrived at the ferry pier at Maafushi, a van was arranged to take us to the hotel. We were quite surprised. All the staff were very friendly and willing to help. Cos' the beach is quite far from the hotel, they can drive us to there once requested. A minor problem is that not all staff speak good English though. For the breakfast, not many food were provided but the quality was above average. They refilled the food very quickly. The bed was comfortable and clean.
