"This is lovely hotel, located in the heart of the pedestrianised old town. Despite the touristy location the hotel is peaceful with an impressive central courtyard where you have breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant called Le Comptoir next door where we ate and can recommend. But there are many many other restaurants within a short walk mostly serving the hearty local bouchon cuisine."

Reception was pleasant and efficient. Room was compact. No tea or coffee facilities. Everything was clean - corridor carpets a bit grubby. Very close to the station but no train noise in our room. Decent value for a big city. Absolutely fine for a short stay"

Our room is full of light and had a quaint little fireplace in it. The only drawback was we were right next to the hotel Sign so the room was lit all night otherwise very lovely and the people were very kind."

"The staff at this hotel was particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was also great- just to the north of old Lyon, right along the river and an easy walk to most of the sites. The lobby and bar/restaurant area had a very fresh and recently renovated look and was a pleasure to walk through every day. The room itself was a bit dated but large and comfortable. Would definitely recommend."
