Taylor Swift in France

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was great for anyone going to an event at Grouama stadium. Food choices were great and we enjoyed the pool, spa and excersize room. Overall it was a very nice stay.

We’ve stayed here many times and it’s always reliable. Plenty of parking, the hotel and room is clean and the rooms are a good size. You must plan to eat before you arrive. The food available in the restaurant is ok but you should plan to eat elsewhere if you’d like a good meal.

I thought it being closer to the airport would be a less expensive fare but I had to pay €40 on a 14 mile trip. The spa is very nice but the staff didn't inform me I could go into the sauna until I asked about later on. I paid for a foot massage very good worth the price but I also paid for a manicure it wasn't worth the price it was mainly massaging my hands versus trimming my nails. In my room was very clean but the carpet seemed to be heavily stained with dark spots all over. The area surrounding the hotel is all industrial if you're interested in staying longer it's best to have a vehicle. I found the restaurant & bar very expensive and not worth the price the only thing I liked was the breakfast buffet everything else in the restaurant wasn't as appealing. I'd spent way less on french cuisine and received the best food especially in a city known for Gourmet cooking. The waiters were very friendly but I do wish that I could replace a dish if I don't like it or the waiters be more descriptive on dishes to help give the guest the best option for their taste buds. The arcade is non-existent but their is plenty of activities which I'd enjoyed. The satellite TV has many channels that are unavailable and for it on satellite you'd expect a ton of channels but theirs only a had full. The funny thing is I get more channels at home and it's on an antenna, over the air broadcast.

Rooms that are not clean and lousy service

We checked in 1 min early and asked if our room was ready, the lady at the reception said “our rooms are always clean”. Well. Coming up to our room it was indeed not clean. When back down and got a new room. When back up and the lights did not work. Came back down and then got the information that we needed a different card than the one we got. No more than “I’m sorry” after I came down with a lot of packing. The new room was kind of clean but the bathroom really need a deep clean. We both got suspicious bites after sleeping in the bed.

Says that the employees speak English…we tried to ask for laundry services and the employee started to look up what we were saying on her cell phone. We asked for ice a couple times and she had no idea what we were saying so we went to the bar to ask. We were there on the weekend so maybe the English speaking employees only work during the week. Overall a nice stay.

The internal door lock is not working. we have informed the reception and they told us, it is normal. we found it quite strange as anybody with a card can get in our room while we need privacy. the next day, in the morning. around 9am, someone get into our room when we were sleeping. that person rushed out from our room when i sit up to look who's there. later, around 10am. while my husband and I were preparing to get changed. the room service open our door and get in. i told her : Sorry, but we are here. she doesnt care, get into the bathroom and change the towels. i followed her and told her that she is disturbing us and should wait for us to leave the room before to clean it. she replied that she didnt understand me before and leave, by saying : if you need privacy you hand the sign. We just woke up and when she get into our room, my husband was without pant and me, nearly get off my shirt.... i reported to the reception, who told me i was not the first one this morning. and she will inform the head of service. for the drinking water, you need to take them at the reception, they dont left them in the room. the room is not very clean. Quite disapointed for a "prestige" level. it should be a normal Kyriad with such level.

Disaster.

Booked a room with spa access at the 'spa hotel'. Was dissappoinyed to find that the spa doesnt open until 11am so i was unable to use it. Despite the information in the room saying it was open from 0600-2300. I asked for a reduction in the cost becauee of this however it wss declined becauee 'you booked voa expedia'. What kind of an excuse is that... it is pathetic really. If expedia didnt exist i wouldnt have even been aware of the hotel and the revenue of the hotel would be significantly less. Coffee machine in the room was broken. Spewed coffee everywhere. I informed the reception and requested the room to be cleaned. Nothing was cleaned. No water in the 30 degree hot room. No water in the 30 degree gym. Aas informed i could park underground however on my return the shutters were down and didnt open so i had to reverse up the ramp. Basically every element of the stay was a disaster.
