"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the OKKO Hotels Lyon City Center. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and always had a smile. The location is great as well...it's about a 22 min tram ride/walk from the Central train station or a 25 min walk. It's proximity to the city center was also great (less than a 10 min walk). "Room had such an odd and strong smell. Maybe moldy. Ceiling and grout of shower was very dirty. Shower was annoying to use kept pointing outside of the area. There’s a small homeless encampment in the courtyard by the entrance as well. They had a security guard in the lobby at night at least. Staff however was nice and helpful."

"The room was booked via Expedia and I have noticed a pattern that when a hotel room is booked via any 3rd party that the rooms are sub standard. My room in the Sofitel had curtains hanging off the hooks, the wall to the left hand side behind the curtain had paint peeling off. This is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. Hotels should not give discounted rooms to 3rd parties and when guests check in give them substandard rooms."
