"We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order and taken on the deck. The swimming pool was excellent. Car parking is easy and plentiful. One small point is that we would have appreciated a fan in our room which was very hot. Given the extremely high temperatures we are all experiencing it might be something to consider for the future. Otherwise everything was absolutely fine and of a very high standard."
"We really liked our stay, good location. We stayed in the Cobb suite, super comfortable, good sofa, tv, bed. Breakfast in a hamper was perfect, fresh hot croissants. My only complaint was the WiFi, kept going in and out.if your thinking about Lyme Regis I would definitely recommend."
"Lovely breakfast with perfect views. Staff are very friendly and helpful - right in the heart of Lyme. I’ve been visiting this pub since 1990 ! first time I’ve stayed here ..
spacious room was very sound proof, thick curtains but the early sun still popped thru the sides , black out blinds under would have been a bonus.
Furnished nicely, however the room lacked storage.
Slightly smaller chairs and a narrow drawers / wardrobe would have been more useful .
Especially in the bathroom - there is room for shelving unit near the shower, something would have been really handy, as there are no surfaces to put your things on .
Lovely room with a few minor tweaks needed to make longer stays a little easier :) no decaf coffee in the rooms - ask at the bar they will let you have some :)
The hallway to the rooms has lovely furnishings too …just needs a tidy up, as it has bits and bobs, left here and there.
Dogs are welcomed and there is a non pub entrance, for out of hours.
We will be back - thank you"
"Property was well located for walking into town inside facilities where good everything you needed for a good stay . Property was very clean fresh bedding and towels and a welcome pack with local products . Only downside was having to continual find a parking space or move car due to parking restiction .website advertised on site parking .
Overall a good weeks stay in a lovely place."
"Very clean comfortable stay.
There was a keysafe at the property but you had to go to a different place to pick up and drop off the key which seemed odd.
Parking was round the corner and down the hill."
"The Apartment, was quiet and just the right size for one or two people to stay in. The town was walkable to the town, but it was the hills coming back up. There was no onsite parking and it was pop lucky if you got a space on the road."
