Very nice stay

Very quaint hotel in beautiful countryside. The staff was very accommodating, and was able speak basic English to make this an easy stay. Would go back for sure.

I wish I could tell more about this place. The location was beautiful but upon our arrival around 5pm there was no one at the facility to check us in. We had just flown into Berlin from the US and then driven to the locationand did not have phones that work in the country. We reached out through the Expedia app but did not get a response... It is almost a week later and we still have not received a response. Using the wifi from the parking lot we found a place to stay at a local Airbnb. We are a family traveling and we do not speak the language. It was incredibly frightening not having cell phones that work to call places as well as not knowing where your family was going to sleep for the night. The hotel looked beautiful from the outside, but we could not stay and were told we would not be receiving a refund which is rather disappointing. Perhaps this would be a good stay for someone local, but I would not recommend if coming from it if country as communication is very poor.

Hyggeligt hotel i rolige omgivelser!

Min datter og jeg var i Wittenberg for at deltage i den årlige fejring af Luthers Bryllup med Katharina von Bora. Hotel Luther Birke var hyggeligt og lå smukt i rolige omgivelser og samtidig tæt på Lutherstadt Wittenberg. Vi havde et dejligt værelse og betjeningen var venlig og hjælpsom.

Der Empfang war freundlich hilfsbereites Personal. Leider fand dann an einem Abend eine Hochzeit statt so das aufgrund der lauten Musik und singender Gäste an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Darüber wäre ich gern im Vorfeld informiert worden. Aber sonst top Hotel

Klart sämre än vad vi betalat.

Uppgifter stämmer inte. Ville ha betalt för ”gratis parkering ” Restaurangen var stängd. ”Fantastiskt ” utan hiss. Kunde inta mig upp till tredje våningen med rullator. Fick ett mycket sämre rum utan pengar tillbaka. Receptionen ej bemannad. Osv. Positivt ett lugnt och vackert läge. Lite ilsken blev vi.

Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt. Telefonisch konnte ich zumindest die Basis Informationen erhalten. Der Schlüssel war in einem Safe deponiert. Auch am zweiten Tag war nachmittags kein Service Personal vor Ort. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber, allerdings hörte man das Stühle rücken aus dem oberen Zimmer und Türen schließen auf dem Gang. Zum Glück war es Nachts ruhig. Das Frühstück war ernüchternd. Das Rührei, ich vermute Fertigmasse, war zu einem festen Block mit brauner Oberfläche eingetrocknet, da einmal für die Frühstückszeit 7 bis 10 Uhr angerichtet. Die gekochten Eier waren eiskalt und der Kaffee in großer Thermoskanne war für 7 Uhr gekocht und entsprechend um 9 Uhr leidlich zu genießen. Auch fehlte beim Buffet die Begeisterung und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals zum nachlegen und auffüllen. Leider war es am zweiten Tag nicht besser. Das Restaurant, Bistro, Café konnten nicht genutzt werden, da Dienstag und Mittwoch geschlossen. Vielleicht wäre ein Hinweis in den Buchungsportalen hilfreich, da es aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit des Hotels keine guten Alternativen gibt.

Immer wieder gern

Ich bin gern da, weil es ruhig sauber und ordentlich ist. Ich kann jedem dieses Hotel empfehlen. Besonders mag ich, dass es abseits, in einem kleinen Dorf ca. 6 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt liegt.

rming choice near Reformation sites

The grounds were beautiful, the restaurant was cozy, and the entire hotel felt very German and adorable. Our room had a bath/shower that had a gabled roof so you could only bathe, but not stand and shower. They also had e-bikes available and if it had been less chilly we would have stayed here and taken bikes to downtown Wittenberg to see the sites.

Im Frühstücksraum war es an dem einen Tag etwas laut, da man sich über drei Tische unterhalten hat. Ansonsten war ich mit dem Frühstück sehr zufrieden. Es gab an allen drei Tagen Rührei. Leider fehlte mir die gewünschte Badewanne. Eine Tür im Treppenhaus schlug leider laut am Abend bzw. in der Nacht öfter zu. Ansonsten war ich aber zufrieden.
