Friendly smooth check in, nice rooms, strangely small bathrooms and hotel lifts, impression hotel is squeezed into the building. Nice decor. Good breakfast. Superb old port location. Decent VFM .

Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful.

It is a scam. I received confirmation email the day of my rental claiming i was expected there, but when i showed up I could not reach the landlord. I had to book another facility and spent 2 hours trying to solve the situation with expedia /vrbo ...

After visiting Luçon Cathedral, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Luçon.
Explore the great outdoors at Dumaine Garden, a lovely green space in Luçon.
The only disappointment we had was that the best restaurants in town were all shut for their holidays, as it was at the end of the summer season, so choice of where to eat in the evenings was a little limited! Otherwise it was a perfect stay.
