"Das Marelen Hotel war für uns die perfekte Unterkunft auf Zakynthos. Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage, super saubere Zimmer, ein tolles, abwechslungsreiches Buffet morgens und abends, schöne Poolanlagen mit Poolbar (sehr empfehlenswerte kleine Snack-Karte) und extrem freundliches, unaufdringliches Personal. "Great waterpark, good service and helpfull staffs, entertainment area was very accommodating for kids. Although the hotel is big, you could always request for hotel buggies to transport within the hotel. Easy access to book excursions just outside hotel. Overall, had a lovely time at the property. "

"Our second time staying at St. John Villas, it is extremely restful & quiet, being on the hillside above Tsilivi itself. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. We will definitely stay here again."

"We had a great experience. Mary welcomed us, showed the rooms and the restaurant and all the stuff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this as best place in Zakinthos. "

"We did not have proper curtains so asked the réception and they made everything to get us some. On top they have a huge swimming pool that is just perfect when you are back from the beach. Staff were amazing."

"This is a chilled and friendly apart hotel with great food and even better friendly and personable staff and service. Despite it being the middle of August, the place never felt busy and there were always a choice of sunbeds. Taxis were easy enough to get, but you couldn’t really walk anywhere so you may wish to consider a car if you want to get out and about every day. "

"Very pleasant stay! Lots of choice on breakfast buffet, hotel has pool as well as it’s own beach access (some stones on the edge for a few feet but rest is only sand, sea is warm). Staff is very nice"
