"The only critiques I have are that the room was dimly lit, and hotel room coffee was not great. But Starbucks is downstairs and Timmy’s is next door. Otherwise it was perfect! I loved the balcony and view! Beds & pillows comfy, bathroom mirrors, all were lovely. Anni, server at the cloud street restaurant onsite was a true pleasure!"

"Don't judge a book by its cover...and don't judge a hotel by its lobby. The common areas of this hotel are pretty shabby, but the rooms are updated and great. Comfortable bed, new shower and bathroom...small but functional. The King bed room I was in had two sinks which made up for the small bathroom. Critical to know that the parking (paid) is accessible from the backstreet immediately BEHIND the hotel! Staff were very helpful and friendly. But the best thing about this hotel is the location...a block from English Bay Beach, and Stanley Park!"

"Certainly an older property, 2 star but well maintained and clean. Comfortable beds but rooms dingy due to age with old carpets and dim lighting. Could use a refresh since the bones of the units are good with a full kitchen and closet. Parking garage secure although watch for drippings from the ceiling! Overall the location can’t be beat but don’t expect any modern finishing or amenities."
