"Casa Dorada was a beautiful property. This was our second time staying there. If you are interested in the “travel club” there are plenty of people to assist with that. If you are not interested in the travel club there are still plenty of people to bother you with that. That was our only issue. If you do not mind that it’s great. "Check-in was confusing we waited 30 minutes only to find out we were in the wrong line, with no signage for exclusive check-in. Then another 45 minutes just to make a restaurant reservation, with limited availability and clearly overworked staff. We were also locked out of our room for nearly an hour due to a faulty lock, with no compensation offered. Maintenance entered our room while we were inside, which felt disruptive. "The staff was friendly. Problem is there were so few the service was slow. Their app to make reservations was confusing. Their shuttle system between their locations was useless. To get on shuttle you had to make a reservation and when we tried the next ride was in 4 hours. Basically you have to use taxis. The worst was dealing with their timeshare people. They were incredibly pushy, dishonest and almost threatening. I'd stay away from this place."
