We didn’t feel welcomed during our stay. The evening receptionist appeared very serious and didn’t smile, which gave off an uninviting atmosphere. It honestly felt like I was being pulled over by CHP on the highway when I handed him my ID during check-in.
We also noticed that housekeeping wasn't done daily. After our first night, the shower gel bottle was empty, so I called the front desk to request fresh towels, a refill of the shower gel, and a new roll of toilet paper. When we returned later that day, nothing had been delivered. I called again, and the same receptionist told us we needed to come downstairs to pick them up. There was already a line of guests waiting for similar reasons. I felt bad for the receptionist—he seemed overwhelmed and unsure of where items were stored, having to search around for each request.
