i have stayed here before for the week that i work in santa monica and i liked it so much that whn my previous hotel was sold out i booked here again for last week! now i wont stay anywhere else! on the surface the small motel looks “run of the mill” but when you look deeper you see all the things: 1. AMAZING STAFF who remember you and the things you need when you stay! priceless! 2. great parking at a reasonable price (even though plenty of street parking - the hotel lot is very easy and convenient! 3. location - so close to everything! 4. CLEAN! enough said! 5. nice sized room! 6. THAT AMAXING FILTERED LEMON WATER!! i’m bringing lemons from our fruit trees next time maybe they’ll put it in the water!!! 7. THE STAFF! (noah! manny! the wonderful guy i spoke to today that i didn’t get the name of … all of them so nice! very caring! 8. MEMBERSHIP - i joined wyndam few weeks ago and have already started stocking up some nice rewards! I plan many more stays at this little gem!

The room was as expected for a 2* hotel. Clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and well stocked with shampoo, soap and the other necessities. The staff were as helpful as they could be. My wife and I entered the lobby from our car after a long drive and requested to use a bathroom. We were told that there is no bathroom available for guests except for the one in the room, and we'd have to wait to check in before using it. Very uncomfortable! The hotel provides a few breakfast conveniences such as instant oatmeal and snack bars. We don't expect urban hotels to provide even that much, so that was nice. But the coffee was the worst I have ever tasted anywhere. I'm guessing they haven't cleaned the pot in months, but maybe it's just bad coffee. There's a McDonalds a couple of blocks away, so that's where we went for coffee. The upshot of this is that we were grateful to have a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price for such an expensive area, and despite a few reservations, we would stay there again.

I volunteered for the Genesis Invitational golf tournament and this ended up being a great location. It was close to LAX, and the volunteer parking area near the beach. The rooms were good size, and it was quieter than other hotels I've stayed at.

Room and service was ok but internet was very bad. Captive portal kept coming back every time the password was entered. Sometimes I had to enter the password hundred times before a connection could be established. One day I tried for more than one hour. When I told the front desk about this problem, they said "keep trying". This was not limited by laptop connection only. It was the same with IPad also. Interestingly, IPhone connection was easier, it took about 3-4 times before a connection could be established. Having said that, even this is not "normal". It should connect after a password is entered once.

They were saving some sugary snacks for breakfast—no one in the dining room to provide service. No one was at the front desk in the morning to provide a receipt or answer the questions. The shower was dirty, and the shampoo bottle was empty.

Booked for breakfast, no breakfast just a prepackaged bar and coffee. You need to ask for housekeeping, but when asked to restock the room no one ever came. Location is ok, place is old and run down, no early check in, no public bathroom, no real secure luggage storage but they will put them in the dining area. Wouldn’t recommend
