"Our room was fabulous. The decor, comfort, and cleanliness of the room was great. We had a kingsize bed with the couch, chairs, a refrigerator with 2 waters, and three windows that opened to the front of the Mont. We were provided with a fan and there was tons of storage space (more than we needed for one night stay). The reason for less than a 5 star is due to a few reasons. "The room was pretty big! A/C worked well and was nice to have. It’s as close to Mont St Michel as you can be. The rooms don’t have balconies but there are shared balconies on the 2nd floor which was super cool. The breakfast buffet was good and had a bit of everything."

"We arrived at 12 am in the morning and we couldn’t make the payment through the machine. We had to contact the staff and it took about 15 minutes for the manager to arrive to help us. The vending machine was broken, so we couldn’t get any water. I will not recommend this property."

"We had a clean room with comfortable beds and a surprisingly large bathroom. Lying in bed, we could see the spire of the Abbey! Check-in before the walkway was smooth, and they allowed us in about an hour early. We also took the option to pay additionally for late checkout. There was coffee and tea in the room for morning and ample extra bedding and pillows. The staff was extremely helpful and kind during both checkin and checkout."

Fine for those aged 15 and under but at my age these things get difficult Heater in the bathroom was a bit rusty, which took the edge off a gorgeously refurbished hotel We shall visit again,now that I know to head for Pontabault rather than Val St Pere"
