"Recently refurbished so condition very good. Excellent cleanliness although bathroom shower was in bathtub, so access difficult for older travellers. Front desk & breakfast staff were outstanding friendly & helpful "

"From the moment you enter you can tell this is a good hotel. The reception staff are wonderful - exactly who you would want to welcome you and explain everything you would need to know. The room was great...we were in a relatively inexpensive room so our view was predominantly other buildings' walls. We could not fault the bed - very comfortable and the shower room - very hot, powerful shower. We ate in the restaurant for our breakfasts and one evening for dinner. Absolutely excellent food and again great folk serving the food. A joy to be there. We would recommend your staying here if you were visiting Derry - a great little hotel in the heart of the walled City. Perfect!"

"The room was clean but furnitures are old and beat up. The property really need serious renovation, the entrance was closed due to on-going construction. Phone charger and outlets need an upgrade or at least provide portable plug for new tech. accessories. The staff are fantastic and very helpful, I personally feel bad that they have to work under that kind of condition, and having minimum resources to accommodate guests' simple requests"

"Overnight stay in city for birthday. Hotel was excellent from before arrival in terms of arranging thermal spa access. On arrival we were greeted bet exceptionally friendly reception and Porter staff. Provided an umbrella for the walk across the bridge into the city. Spa was small but really good as access was managed. The evening was rounded off with cocktails in the drawing room with piano player. Breakfast excellent. Two minor things: Loud music from party in neighbouring brewery (stopped at a reasonable time) No fridge in room. Have booked to return. "

"Absolutely outstanding service from reception staff thru car valet bar staff waitress room service. Super clean place, dining 5 star. Cannot fault this place at all. Location is superb for city seeing. Only one down side was a bit noisy neighbours up above our apartment - but that’s not a hotel fault just lack of manners from some. "
