"Clean room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, nice pub attached. "

"Nice clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Nice grounds. Staff were lovely. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool. Not many negatives, but our room kept stopped working 3 times, in a 1 night stay. I had to nip out to the car, and ended up not being able to get back in to the building. Also, when others are entering the building (was a separate building with just bedrooms) the doors rattle really badly. My daughter kept thinking someone was trying to get in the room. "

"Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful."

"Stay here regularly. We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. Great hotel, but I would choose the basic room in future as the upgraded...

"This is a converted pub with an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor. Food very good cooked to taste, no breakfast offered/available. Rooms clean but dated. TV not tuned in, only BBC channels available. Good shower/bathroom. "

"Although the suite itself was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues. The lights in the room didn’t work properly, which was frustrating from the start. The door to the suite constantly rattled whenever the downstairs door opened and shut, and because of the lack of soundproofing you could hear every conversation from below. "Great pre-arrival service with emails sharing possible local sites and places to eat. Then, such a warm welcome on arrival. Great room and we had wonderful views down into Perth. Perth was within easy walking distance. The lounge with the wood burning fire in the evening was cozy and a great environment to enjoy a wee dram. Great breakfast."

"Excellent simple accommodation with shared bathroom. Extremely clean, warm and relatively quiet (for an old building). No notification of door key code as promised but staff resident so no issues with 21:00 check-in. Would definitely stay again."
