"A little off the beaten path, but this what makes it so appealing. Bicycle friendly, and quiet hotel for those seek these qualities. Just for those who care, it is a basic hotel room. You won’t find clock radios, bar fridge or irons in your room. I don’t need those things so it was perfect. Super friendly staff and great breakfasts. When I come back to Utrecht, this will be the hotel I choose again. "

"W hi at an incredible surprise when we checked in. So much greater than the pics The History of the place, and all the amenities. The room was spectacular looking over the park and canal. So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us. Thankyou so much for such a memorable time."
