Top Llandudno Hotel Reviews

Merrion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice bay window room. Breakfast was really good quality food, although it’s a kind of half way house between buffet self service and table service for tea/coffee. Just felt it would be easier to let people get their own coffee. Bar prices were high end to be honest but decent entertainment (solo singers every night)"

Headlands Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Ideally situated with parking, albeit a bit akward with 5 spaces,if not there is parking on the road if you can get a space! . We stayed in the quadruple room with sea view for myself, hubby and two Granddaughters. One double bed and two single beds, plenty of space. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice in a bright airy dining room. We'd definitely stay again."

"Nice room with a sea view, breakfast very good, all the staff were great, if I was to have a moan it would be the WiFi is a bit hit and miss, but didn't really matter, I would definitely go back."

Belmont Llandudno

"Stayed for 2 nights B&B with my 5 year old granddaughter. Pros outweigh the cons. Pros Fantastic location. Just across the road from the pier and about a 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. Breakfast was good. There was a good choice of cereal as well as continental. Cooked breakfast was really good, served promptly and freshly cooked. Room amenities are excellent. Cans of water, which was much needed during the heatwave, plenty of teabags/milk & sugar and a coffee maker. Also the little extras like earplugs & an eye mask and a fan are a nice touch. Cons We stayed in a superior rear room with twin beds (room 106). Sadly I didnt regard it as ‘superior’. The room was quite small and the view was dismal. The carpet was quite grubby and unfortunately the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom let it down significantly. What looked like blood stains on the walls and thick grime under the sink plug were unacceptable for the price I paid for the room. The room got very hot despite having a fan. Heavy duvets on the beds during hot weather isn’t ideal, may be worth investing in lower tog duvets for the warmer months. On our last day they decided to carry out maintenance on the lift so I had to carry our suitcases down 2 flights of stairs, not great when you’re recovering from cancer surgery. Would I stay again? Yes, but I think I’d prefer a bigger room with a view which would obviously cost more so I’d expect better cleanliness."

"Rooms clean friendly staff nearby shops and restaurants. Looks a little run down in areas and could do with a bit of maintenance. Used facilities and bar in adjacent hotel that was internally linked as the diner and bar in our side was shut. Lovely cooked breakfast reasonably priced . Don’t worry about the weird noises the lift makes when reaching top floor bounces a bit on arrival. Bath takes a while to fill hot water fine but cold a little low on pressure. Overall a pleasant stay."
