"Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith.
Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog.
Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden.
Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales.

"A true gem in the heart of Keswick! The property felt like home from home, but with the luxury and convenience you would expect from a holiday rental. There is free onsite parking, check-in is easy (the hosts actually contacted us on the day to say we could check-in earlier if we wanted to), and communication with the host was quick and helpful. "Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen (everything you could possibly need). It was like a home from home. The only slight negative was that the beds were very soft, but that's just personal preference.
Whitbarrow village itself was very well maintained with a lovely bar/restaurant area. We would definitely return."

"Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. "
