Vila Louro was not easy to find, so you will need your phone on before you arrive to give the owner the chance to contact you.
The local area was beautiful but some of the amenities around the beach area were fairly spartan. There restaurants local we’re adequate without being exceptional.
Vila Louro was excellent as were the facilities, the breakfast, the gardens and the the staff. The host appeared to have a reasonable command of most languages and was likeable, helpful and hospitalable. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well appointed. The area does tend to be slightly cooler than the surrounding areas, although in the high summer temperatures that can be viewed as advantageous. Overall this was a most enjoyable 3 days in this beautiful and pleasant retreat.
