We liked the fact that this location is very close to the center of Chiado/Baixa. We could get pretty much to Santa Justa Elevator, restaurants, Barrio Alto, Praça do Comércio, Alfama, pink street just by walking. We really like walking so for us everything was closed by. It was our first time in Lisboa and had a great time but one thing I would have liked to know beforehand was that to get to the apartment and out of the apartment with our luggage, we had to go up and down hill as no cabs or taxis could get to place (about 5 minute walk to get to the street where you can get a cab). The apartment was comfortable, in a very good location, and mostly clean (except for a cockroach in one of the kitchen bins and some mold on the shower floor).
