"We stayed for 3 days and had a lovely time. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean, tidy and fresh. The "Continental Breakfast" was way better than any continental breakfast we've ever had. The scones were delicious and I got the recipe from Fiona. The owner and caretaker were always around to answer questions and tell us about the building and it's history. Having the lake right in front with lots of room to sit by the fire, and lounge. The beach was pretty and convenient. The amenities were excellent, with canoes, kayaks and paddle boards for all to use. It was very cozy and very well maintained and you could see the pride of the owners all over the place with so much attention to detail and the customer in mind. We felt so welcomed and at home. We received a really nice card and bottle of champagne as we were celebrating our 25 year marriage anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to the new spaces being created by the owners. We highly recommend this place and will likely visit again next year."
