En Lima por trabajo y estudios, mi experiencia

El lugar es muy acogedor, las habitaciones son amplias, muy cómodas y con espacios para trabajo o estudio, ideal para un viaje de trabajo o negocios. La ubicación es practica de relativo fácil acceso (en Lima el trafico es terrible y se debe tomar en cuenta al momento de trasladarse), cerca a centros comerciales, centros financieros. La atención es muy buena, personalizada y con una excelente predisposición a atender nuestras necesidades. Como sugerencia seria incorporar un letrero, nos confundió un poco al llegar, ya que por fuera parece una casa común, por otro lado se podría mejorar el desayuno, resulta básico (como de casa) y con pocas alternativas En general tuvimos una muy buena experiencia y recomendaría visitar Posada Monterrico

Good place for a short stay in Lima

The place is very nice for vacation, but it didn't fit my needs for business 100%. Service was great. The environment was very nice too. Location was not the Best for my specific business needs, as the closest restaurant was about 15 minute walk. Not too far, but not close enough for me. I recommend it for a short vacation stay.

A Lush Island of Tranquility in a Bustling City

This is a tranquil private home with guest rooms and a beautiful garden (with pool) -- an island of tranquility in the middle of Lima's bustle and traffic jams. The rooms are immaculate, each with a spotless bathroom and access to the gracious living room and garden. The room came with a good hot breakfast and excellent coffee. It was no trouble to come and go at reasonable hours. The host was helpful with matters such as figuring out Lima's Uber system. The spot is ideal for anyone working at the nearby university, which is within walking distance. Note that there is no restaurant on site, but some nearby.

Incredible Ambience

This was our first trip to Peru and to this accommodation. We found the hosts to be friendly and helpful in every way. This is truly a beautiful oasis in the middle of an area offering so much. One of the largest and newest malls is within walking distance. The grounds are magnificent and spacious, complete with a lovely pool, and even a peacock that ambles about the property. We would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Posada Monterrico was a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a residential area, but close to the mall and family. We could walk to family rather than take taxis.

Excelente. Muy conveniente para zona de Surco.

La atención 10 puntos. Muy amables. Mi habitación en particular tenía el baño saliendo de la misma, aunque privado (las otras habitaciones tienen el baño integrado). El jardín invita a sentarse a leer, trabajar, conversar. Muy recomendable!

Good location, comfortable

It was a nice stay overall and would stay there again. The hotel had a boutique feel but also welcoming and comfortable with ample informal meeting areas. Location is probably its biggest asset. My only complaint is that the AC wasn't working well, though I never contacted them to fix it.

Oasis In The City!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts (Hernan and Gaby) and staff made us feel quite welcome in our first trip to Peru. The setting was as if we were far, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was inviting and comfortable. This location was very close to a very large mall (Jockey Plaza) that had plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. We rented a car to get around but there were plenty of taxis in the area if needed. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us back to the Lima area!

charm of old Lima in upscale neighborhood

Charming, worldly, helpful, English/Spanish-speaking owners. Other clientele high-end. A bit of the Garden of Eden lush tropical setting, with doves, banana & bamboo trees, and even a peacock to rest the weary traveler. Gorgeous posada architecture, a wall of sliding picture windows to access the gardens and pool areas. Classic Spanish art, and artifacts from around the world. Made our stay in Lima a delight...looking forward to staying again!

Relaxing place

It was a relaxing experience, very different from regular hotels. This is a boutique hotel where you get to know the owners who offer you a warm stay and nice conversation. It is an oasis in the middle of Lima, you think you are in a rain forest.

Lovely, unique posada. Solace from the city!

Hernan and Gaby are wonderful hosts. The house and grounds are an oasis, with a peacock, chickens, a dog, a cat and a great pool, surrounded by foliage.... will stay again!

Buena, pero puede ser mejor.

En general bien. Cosas para mejorar: . Estar al tanto del consumo de gas... el primer dia no hubo agua caliente... ducha con agua fria!. . No hay personal para atencion permanente. Se tiene que estar buscando al personal (portero, limpieza, etc.) cada vez que se necesita.
