"Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Hot tub on roof is a great plus. Close to gondola. I’ve stayed in ski season and now in Summer. The best of both seasons with this great hotel."

"Love the peaks and this is our third stay. We stayed 3 nights and had to switch rooms, the booked room smelled like wet dog. The staff accommodated. Valet did leave my car unlocked and the windows down in the parking lot, which I pointed out and was corrected. Overall we love the peaks and will be back"

"The hotel was a small but lovely place. We had a room with a full size bed, we thought we were getting a queen, and a shared bathroom, that we were told was very nice bathroom. The shower was like a camoer shower, the way it was explained we wete under assumption it was a spa like bathroom. I understand most Colorado does not have Air conditioning, it was 85 degrees in the hotel at 8PM. Large steep flight of stairs to walk to the rooms wasn't pleasant for a handicapped person. "This was a last-minute booking, but our favorite of a 2-week trip. The hot tub and fireplace were relaxing. The in-room microwave and fridge were a bonus. The beds were better than mine at home. Due to a wildfire in the area, I called the day of our check-in to request a cancellation or rebook to a different date. The highway leading into Ouray was closed and law enforcement was urging people to stay away. "The manager was very helpful at first. Then when we found the toilet in our room running constantly and not able to be flushed, he became almost completely unhelpful. He acknowledged that he knew about the toilet but there was nothing he could do. Finally, when pressed he said there was one other room that he could give us with 2 queen beds. However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Then gave us a hard time about checking in early when it was already 3:00, not crowded, and rooms available. Also asked if there were places to sit outside and he said no when both floors have chairs outside to look at the sights. Also outside needs some attention with dead plants or overgrown plants.
