"After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return"

"The views of the property were amazing. However the hot tub did not work. They only have one washer and dryer, someone had it tied up all night. I had to rush and get it started in the morning before taking off. The app was very helpful to let me know when it was done however! The hotel is very dated but the front seat staff was nice."

"Although a bit “rustic” inside and out, not a bad place to stay for the price. Best: Refurbished bathroom & very clean room. Note: had a kitchen and coffee maker, but you need to bring your own coffee. Fridge was not plugged in so lost its use for 1 day. No A/C but the nights were cool and were never hot, even when the days were. Could be noisy during the day but very quiet at night - little to no traffic. Big plus - is it’s across the street from a nice beach area with facilities and...

"Nice location AC unit did t work and the room was pretty hot. Little to no air circulation. Had to sleep with the door open it got so hot. (Yes, we had all 2 windows completely open.)"

"The ownership seemed in transition with policy like free breakfasts being changed. The buffet breakfast was not offered. Room was clean but the auto on lighting in the sink area would come on with any movement. Since there is not a door, we often would be awakened . The person on the front desk was very helpful as was the housekeeper."

"The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...
