"We had a great stay here. The staff is fantastic and so friendly. The only downside is that we were there during a heat wave and there was no AC in the room. The hotel did provide a fan and that helped, but it was still toasty. Overall, fantastic experience."

"The hotel is right next to the bus stop so if you’re using that means of transportation it is a great fit. Also, it is a very short walk to the village shops and cafes. Our room slept three very comfortably but the AC was not able to get the room much below 80degrees F which made sleep difficult in July. Other than that the hotel was a win."

"The staff were amazing. We hiked the TMB and were able to leave our bags with the concierge. The apartment suites had high end appliances and were amazingly functional and comfortable. The spa was delightful and very clean."

"Great location, a short walk to the Aigulle du Midi lift, and a short walk to the center of town. The apartment is spacious. Our kids, ages 10 and 12 LOVED the bunk beds. I loved the back deck view of Mount Blanc. We hope to return her."

"Nice place in a lot of ways, some nice amenities, and good location. My main complaint is that the apartment itself lacks good areas to sit. I'm slightly tall (6' / 182cm) and the sitting situation was just quite uncomfortable if you are spending time in the apartment. It's hard to explain but essentially the only place to sit is the dining room bench around the table, which is quite short in depth so you can't really sit back in any comfortable way. "We came in the summer and loved Chamonix. This hotel was in a very good location and had a nice sized room with views of the mountains (although also right on the parking lot and another hotel so not super private). It is a cozy, lovely place- I imagine really nice in the winter. The entire place is a little run down- old carpets in the halls, and old, outdated feel. I found this charming, but also recognize some people may not like the rustic cozy feel."

"Very old and dirty, even though you are in a beautiful town. No elevators, but the staff was friendly and helpful when it came to my suitcase. No AC. No window, except for a roof vent which I was told to open with a stick (tool) at night if I want some fresh air. This is a 1, maybe 2 star hotel at best. Not even."

I stayed at another hotel 2 blocks way before the the tour and had a not so great room for the same amount of money for my stay at Hotel Lyret. If I go back to Chamonix I will stay at Hotel Lyret."

"The views were spectacular and the balcony was nice to have. The suite was pretty spacious. The breakfast and restaurant were first rate and had nice views. We didn’t find a pool for relaxing but the sauna was nice. The staff and concierge were very helpful and our every request was handled with great service and communication. Highly recommend!"
