Excellent location. Ski in and out. Literally next door to gondola. Everything is downhill after that. The rooms are tiny and dated. Service is poor and rigid. Food is cafeteria standard.

**Disgustingly foul smell dirty rooms. ** Food terrible and everything cold. ** Travelodge sized rooms. **Rude staff and manager nowhere to be seen (hiding). ** Heater in the room did not work. ** Extensive mould in the bathroom. ** Dirty towels on the floor were hung up wet and dirty by service with no way to dry them at least. ** Manager was never available to discuss issues. ** I had to move hotels after 2 days. **I became ill with Norovirus and was violetly sick the day after I left.

1h d'attente pour le checking (18h). La même file d'attente pour les étrangers et les Français (des formulaires complémentaires à remplir pour les étrangers). Aucune isolation phonique (on entends les gens parler dans le couloir ou l'ascenseur) Personnel lent et incompétent. Chambre petite et ancienne. Bref pour 200 euro ce 4 étoiles, passez votre chemin.

The location is good and you can ski in and out and they provide you with a locker. Loved the skiing in val thorens! When we first arrived they forgot to clean the room we were to be in and we got moved to a different room. The new room was bigger and better. I must say the basic room looks very small. The beds in the rooms are very tiny and half of my husbands leg was over the bed. Overall a good vibe and meets needs but nothing exceptional. Very very French hotel which is good to experience but hard when communicating. All announcements and entertainment is only in French thus not inclusive of English speakers. We could not take part in any of the events and quiz nights. Mostly French guests so probably makes sense. Ideal for a family with kids. Lots and lots of kid activities and kids run the show. If you are looking for a romantic getaway as a couple this is not the place😂 Drinks at the bar are not cheap but in line with the town. Food was good, lots of options and very nice. We had half board and was more than enough. Staff friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine but cost 10 euros for wash and dry and then clothes don't come out dry(had to dry x3) No kettle in room and can only have coffee in morning buffet which was not great. This would be a good hotel for 3 stars but not a 4 star hotel. Has a very hostel vibe.

En arrivant pas de visibilité du nom des Arolles cause enneigement. Chambre très étroite en particulier les doubles avec cloison placo.Isolation phonique inexistante.Clients sans civisme qui continuent leur soirée allègrement.

Super séjour accueil et service super Mention spéciale pour Donatela , Lucie et Élise à votre service et toujours avec le sourire . Repas variés . Seul petit bémol nous étions 2 et nous avions une chambre avec porte communiquant fermée destinée en principes aux famillles et donc pb d insonorisation ..

El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación para salir esquiando desde la puerta, jacuzzi y hammam muy agradables para después de un día de ski. Muy buen servicio de alquiler de skies en tienda ubicada en el mismo y un muy comprometido y profesional servicio de animación. Buffet variado pero de calidad media y servicio de limpieza decepcionante, en 5 días de alojamiento no hicieron la limpieza de los baños dos días seguidos, cuando eramos 3 personas alojadas en la misma habitación, la cual por cierto era bastante pequeña para 3 huéspedes.

Never seen such a bad and inefficient reception!

On the positive, the hotel is located in a very nice place. However, there are so many things wrong with this hotel that I would recommend to find another place. The reception staff (except one person), are the most inefficient that we had ever seen! Check in at 6PM but even then the room was ready at 7PM. Checkout at 9AM! Rooms were very small, and we knew about it, but never seen such small beds ever. Spa staff was very friendly, but you can ONLY use the spa only once during one week of stay after 5PM and twice during the day time!! Hotel is meant for families, and that was also know, but forget about going the hotel bars or other places as kids run around even during the nights etc...

May need more chefs, breakfast hot food ran out quickly. Timings of breakfast and dinner are also bad breakfast needs to finish at least half an hour later (we were rudely turned away a mere 1 minute after breakfast finished, even though many people were still in there) and dinner needs to start an hour earlier. However, the staff were (generally) extremely nice and made a great deal of effort, particularly the receptionists and bar staff. The room was nice, however it should've been cleaned more often. The location of the hotel is perfect truly is a ski-out hotel and the ski facilities are perfect with the lockers and on site shop working very well.
