"It’s probably the ugliest building we’ve ever stayed in, but better inside. Our room was rather ‘tired’ - wallpaper peeling off, large crack in the basin, but was clean. Food was really good, and excellent breakfast."

"The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for ..."

"Staff was very helpful, breakfast was abundant- nice fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, porridge, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee tea juices jams cheeses and ham. Fresh baked cake and muffins.
