Hotel Dekat Leonard Lake

"We stayed in room #1. It was lovely & spotless. The bathroom had just been done all except for the bathtub which was in excellent shape. The kitchen was also brand new and had everything you needed. I would offer the following suggestions though...1. Have a closet built in the empty space in the bathroom or at least a rod to hang some clothes up. 2. The instruction booklet for the convection oven would be handy and 3. A small table with the chairs outside. All in all we were very satisfied...

"If you want old school charm...this is the place to go. It's a beautiful setting overlooking the river in Bracebridge. There are beautiful seating areas and the rooms all have balconies that look over the river. It's quiet, serene, peaceful. Although they don't have cable, they do have Netflix! Breakfast was included (which is rare these days) and it was a beautiful arrangement of basics (nothing hot except your toast or a bagel) but there was plenty there to start your day off with a full...

You had to go outside and then back inside through another door, walk to the gym area and then down some stairs and then back up stairs which were narrow. "The Place was Amazing. It was so nice to stumble on this gem of a hotel. I am excited to go back next summer after dropping off the children at summer camp! (The staff was working hard with big groups so it may have been extra difficult to keep the public washrooms clean and tidy - which speaks more to the guests than the staff really)."
