"The hotel is outside Aswan in New Aswan (about 20 minutes drive) so is very remote. It's a gorgeous location overlooking the Nile with the pools all facing that way. There are two gyms, one tiny one in the hotel itself and the other one where they need to drive you 10 minutes to the spa. We didn't realise that as it was a shame as the impression given was it was on site, but the drive meant it wasn't convenient and we couldn't use it based on the timings of our activities. "Rooms are outdated and very worn and old. The washrooms are quite filthy. Staff is not particularly trained well to greet and handle customers. It is by no way shape or form a 5 star hotel by how it operates, it reminds me more of a two or three star."

"Wir haben hier einen Zwischenstopp von Assuan nach Kairo eingelegt. Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb von Assiut gelegen in einem Sportkomplex. Es macht einem gepflegten Eindruck und es ist alles sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und ebenfalls war alles sauber und in Ordnung. Das Hotel eigene Restaurant hat 24h geöffnet. Das Essen war gut und das Personal war sehr freundlich."
