"The room was far better than I was expecting. I was impressed by my large roof balcony (although far too wet and windy to use it on my visit) and the lovely view to the Botanic Gardens from it. Comfortable bed, the heating worked and a nice bathroom. Only improvement I can think of is a desk and chair, as I got a kink in my back from trying to work on my laptop off the bedside table. It's walkable from here. The Botanic Gardens across the road is worth a visit. There's a restaurant/café next...

"The unit was excellent but the when we arrived and I asked if he wanted the Expedia booking reference he rambled on about ‘fat cats in America’ taking money offshore and that it’s better to look up the price on there and then to call the motel direct (to cut out the middle man). Was unimpressed to be lecture us like this? if you want to advertise on their platform accept get they take a commission and don’t try to circumvent the process that brought the customer to you. "

"Beautiful property with a rose garden. We chose this hotel as it was near Hagley Park and it was worth it, as we saw many cherry blossoms during our stay. We stayed in the twin room, with 2 double beds (there was some confusion on this at first as Expedia stated 2 twin beds, which are basically 2 single beds, just a bit larger).
