"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall tour is excellent. If you want a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. It's a great way to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!"

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "
