"The view was outstanding. Wall size windows on the 11th floor made every view breathtaking. The room was open with a modern feel. Easy access to most areas. Valet staff were top notch. Hemingway’s restaurant on the 4th floor was delicious. Salsa lessons are offered. Easy walk to shops. Just about perfect. "

"We decided to stay at this historic property vs normally staying outside of Asheville and it did not disappoint! The location is central to all that downtown Asheville has to offer within a few short steps. The property was beautiful and we appreciated the charming touches from the old department store. "As I was traveling alone this trip. I felt very safe and comfortable. It was very quiet. I stayed in a King room with fireplace, sitting area and inside hot tub. The bathroom had a shower also. There is a lovely Koi pond with surrounding plants. Blooming lily pads at the pond. I fed the kio daily. The indoor pool is wonderful. I loved it there so much I stayed and extra night. Extra a robin bird built a nest and I watched her while laying in bed. "
