"The hotel is in a stunning location. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay with great food this is unbeatable. Staff are excellent, welcoming and humorous. And if you want fishing then it is perfect. We will go back."

"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. "Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "

"The hotel was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and very clean. The highlights were the spa and the breakfast. The salmon was the best I have ever tasted."

"The property was stunningly attractive. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. To get to town was a twenty minute walk where all the eateries and shops and bars were. I ended up getting a taxi back on three occasions as it was mostly uphill on the return. Then again I am over seventy years old."
