"Overall excellent place to stay. I only have v minor issues which are probably more personal preference than anything. Shower flooded the whole bathroom on every use, air con was so noisy all night and pool could have used a clean to remove dead leaves. Other than that a wonderful place to stay"

"This is a very unique place to stay, the hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, they picked us up from the train station gave us a quick tour and gave us some very helpful advice. It’s a way from the crowds of Varenna, Bellagio and Menaggio, just a short distance to Varenna by train. It’s very tranquil clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful area for a walk down to the beach, take the path straight to the centre of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would love to go back someday...

"Very nice property on Lake Como. Close to the ferry to other villages, Bellagio, Varenna etc. It seems family owned and they were very nice, with a full breakfast. Good view of the lake."

"Couldn’t fault anything perfect location helpful staff and lovely quirky room"

"For my wife and I everything was perfect."

"Great Location, Very Clean, from room No. 2 you can hear everything outside but they provide you with ear plugs. Overall great stay!"

"We had a great experience staying at Academia Resort for our short stay in Bergamo. The room was comfortable for what we needed and had a great nights sleep after a long day of walking. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. From providing information of where to go for the sights to enjoying a buffet breakfast in the morning, everyone took the time to make sure we were ok. The location was well placed to enjoy both Citta Alta as well as Citta Bassa. We'll have no hesitation in...

"Everything was great until it was time for us to check out an early morning. No staff was to be found. We called the number that we were given if we needed help no one answered. They lock the front door so you’re trapped in there. Unless you go out through the garden did I mention it was pouring rain and I had all my bags with me and had to wait for the car service outside in the rain other than that the place was great"
